If you are a bit daunted by the prospect of jamming in front of an audience, why not come along to one of the Jams organised by Joel in Woburn Sands, which are held behind closed doors.
If you have. perhaps, not played in a band for awhile or at all, then these jams could be perfect for you.

The two main magazines dedicated to blues in the UK are Blues in Britain and Blues Matters. They have details of gigs, festivals and CD releases.
Nearby there is the Blues Bar Tring and Dusty's at Homer Green & The Bear Club in Luton is at The jazzier end of the blues spectrum.
