11th Oct - Dave Ferra Allstars
The first time Dave came to play for us was on one of our first Acoustic Nights. There were not many of us there (covid), but we had a great time and decided we needed to get him back with his Allstars Band.
It's going to be high quality blues and entertaining.

Lee Signey will be opening proceedings

25th Oct - Staffell & Stewart Band

‘Paul Stewart & Tim Staffell were original contributors to the Rhythm & Blues explosion of the ‘sixties;  Stewart was lead singer and harp player with legendary R&B band ‘The Others’, while Staffell was lead singer and bass player in the pre-Queen power trio ‘Smile’ with Brian May & Roger Taylor. The band features Paul Gordon White on Drums, Steve Kemp-King on bass, and Charlotte Glasson on horns, fiddle, and assorted instruments. Together they play a selection of original material and their own freely adapted arrangements of traditional Blues tunes’

Duncan Disorderly will be opening the proceedings

8th Nov - The Shufflepack
Every night is different, but the groove always remains the same. With The Shufflepack, the deck is always stacked with the blues.
A welcome return for one of our regular bands and poster boys for the club.

What you get is a taste of 1950’s Chicago, with a bit of 1940s here and there. Which means Howlin’ Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Wynonie Harris, Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters and that well know apiarist Roosevelt “Honeydripper’ Sykes. Not forgetting the three Kings, Freddie, Albert & B.B.

In between there is a fair dose of 21st Century Chilterns, with original blues by Son Maxwell, and his reinterpretations of old blues classics like Evil and Shame, Shame, Shame. Fortunately, they still sound an awful lot like 1050s Chicago; none of that noisy blues rock, thank you very much.

If you like your blues cool and yet, somehow, hot, The Shufflepack are your men.

The opening act will be Jonathan, the doorman, with members of The Shufflepack

Later in the year we have:
22nd Nov - Long Road Home - Members of Storm Warning with Steve Summers and Mike Sebbage
The band have their roots firmly planted in the blues/rock genre but have created a unique style that blends in soulful and even jazz elements to their music, which the band is certain will prove popular with a large section of music lovers.
Long Road Home Band – Blues Rock Band UK

6th Dec - Spikedrivers (rescheduled from 6th Sept)
A welcome return from the trio who were originally booked for September, but for personal reasons, we had to put it back to December.
One of the most original, innovative and exciting bands around. Their combination of gutsy slide guitar, rock solid bass, infectious grooves and highly distinctive vocals, create a sound that is uniquely their own.
They take you on a journey from Southern Juke Joints and lazy front porches to the huge open spaces of dust bowls and railroad tracks disappearing into the distance.

13th Dec - The Cinelli Brothers. Who in Sept 2022 won the UK Blues Challenge. They will be heading to Memphis to represent the UK.
Truely a great band.
This will be £15.  £20 on the door assuming we are not sold out

Then it's on to 2023...
